Preschool is the most important grade [2]. By the time your child enters Kindergarten, their most critical brain development has already taken place, especially in the areas of auditory/visual, language and speech. Early education helps develop these areas to prepare children for their best success as they start school.
At Kaleidoscope, we design our curriculum to foster cognitive and social development through play-based activities. Our highly-trained teachers design interactive lessons that teach in fun ways. Classrooms feature a student-to-staff ratio of never more than 12-to-1, better than state standards [3].
A preschool day runs from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Friday (with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday option for 3-year-olds). Full-day options are also available, with optional enrichment activities during the additional hours. The preschool year coincides with the elementary school year (mid-August until the last week in May).
